Vollick McKee was responsible for the design of a pedestrian plaza, primarily used as a city entry point by cruise ship passengers and to link nearby Pier 21 with the downtown Halifax waterfront.
Work included:
• Designing tiered retaining walls and patterned surfacing;
• Preparing layout, grading, planting plans, design details and specifications;
• Project management of all siteworks; and
• Fast tracking the project for the arrival of the Queen Mary cruise ship.
